World giants in food raw material production, BUNGE and ŞMS Kopuz Gıda, set out to make Turkey the center of global food supply. A meeting was held today at Karaköy Peninsula Hotel for the agreement signed between the two groups. At the meeting, the details of this strategic agreement and its strategic contributions to the food chain were discussed.
Bunge, one of the world's four food giants, as an international food company with previous investments in Turkey, made a partnership agreement with Şemsi Kopuz's 50 years of experience in Turkey. ŞMS Kopuz Gıda CEO Şemsi Kopuz said, “We aim to be a bridge in the process from the final producer to the user. Our main goal here will be to increase the development and competitiveness of the confectionery industry in Türkiye and its markets. "We want to both expand our export market in the confectionery industry and provide raw materials to the countries in the region by offering competitive prices with our innovative and niche products," he said.
